Lake Mission ViejoThe Mission Viejo Chapter, NSDAR, is rated the highest level for achieving the goals and objectives of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). We are actively recruiting new members who enjoy our variety of opportunities to use their skills, make friendships, and be part of a service-oriented women's society. Most of our more than 180 members reside in California and we welcome the family members who qualify for admission from other states as well.

Members of our chapter's Lineage Research Committee volunteer at the Mission Viejo Library Genealogy Department to assist with genealogical research. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War, is eligible for membership. Our members volunteer hundreds of hours of service to support our community veterans and active servicemen and women, fundraising for historical preservation projects within our community and provide scholarships awards to local students, and donations to under-served school children.
